December 2011 - GROB’s customer training division now a certified training partner
GROB Mindelheim and Siemens AG have agreed a forward-looking partnership deal, which will regulate their joint training activities for the next two years. As a result of this new collaboration, GROB’s customer training division can now call itself a “certified Siemens CNC training partner”.
November 2011 - A successful in-house event at GROB’s HQ rounds off this year’s trade fair cycle
With over 450 notifications and then no fewer than 570 visitors through the door, GROB’s in-house exhibition in mid-November, following on from the EMO, generated considerable interest. The in-house exhibition marked the end of a successful year in the trade fair cycle. There were many highlights, and in many respects, 2011 was one of the most successful calendar years in the history of the company.
October 2011 - GROB’s new hall in Mindelheim starts to take shape
Only 60 days after construction work began, the contours of Mindelheim’s new Hall 9 are becoming ever clearer. The building work is on schedule and the move into the first parts of the hall will have started by the end of the year. Final completion of the first section is planned for the end of March 2012.
September 2011 - EMO Award: High point of a successful trade fair
The 2011 EMO Award for our non-hydraulic machining center was the high point of our appearance at EMO 2011, which was already exceptionally successful for the company. Between September 19 and 24, over 140,000 visitors representing the industry in 100 countries learned about the latest innovations by GROB at our 1,500 m² trade fair stand. Once again, EMO fully lived up to all expectations and provided further evidence of the excellent outlook for GROB-WERKE.
July 2011 - GROB Dalian starting to take shape
Building work at the site of the new GROB Group factory in China is two weeks ahead of schedule, evidence of speed with which work is proceeding. The organizational and operational structure is also taking shape surprisingly quickly. GROB Dalian celebrates the halfway point in the project and the German/Chinese planning and performance team celebrates the successful cooperation of the first one hundred days.
