5-axis Milling Application Technician

Job description

 

The position is responsible for assisting the sales department with time studies and machining new customer parts to aid in new machine sales.  The position requires strong mechanical aptitude and in depth knowledge of part prints and advanced skills in metal cutting principles.  This position requires communicating directly with customers and up to 25% travel annually for training the customer to run their new machine.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for supporting the final assembly areas and the realization of new projects and equipment

Controls Engineer

The primary job function of the Controls Engineer will be to work in all aspects of automotive controls engineering. Electrical Apprentice Training Instructor

Bluffton/Ohio

Job description

 

The Electrical Apprentice Training Instructor prepares for and teaches Electrical Technology courses (including Electrical Automation Technology, Electrical Systems Technology, Controls Systems Technology, Power Distribution, Motors and Drives, PLC and Process Control) and conducts labs as assigned. The instructor will work on lesson plans for daily activities for students in both theory and lab settings. The theory to laboratory ratio is approximately 15% classroom instruction and 85% hands-on applied electronics. The goal of the GROB Apprentice Program is to train students to become equipment commissioners and machine set-up technicians.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervise students for both theory and technical projects
  • Instructs and evaluates students in appropriate electrical technology courses, including shop safety

  • NEC and applied commercial wiring and power distribution

 

Education & Experience Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Manufacturing Technology, Machining Technology or Technical Education or Electrical Engineering
  • 5 years prior experience teaching in a technical or vocational environment preferred
  • Familiarity with apprenticeship curriculum/programs preferred; willingness to be trained in parent-company program structure
