GROB-WERKE, an internationally renowned supplier of production and automation solutions, is presenting not only its latest machines and technological developments, but also its innovative service solutions at this year's EMO. From 18 to 23 September, visitors at the company’s booth in Hall 12, Booth B12 will be able to experience first hand how GROB provides its customers with groundbreaking service offerings.
GROB service employees and visitors

GROB-WERKE represent quality and innovation. This is reflected not only in the company's machines and systems, but also in the associated services. At EMO 2023, the company will be presenting a wide range of services tailored to the individual needs of its customers. From consulting to implementation, the GROB team supports customers as a competent partner.

Sustainable solutions for long-term productivity security

GROB offers a versatile portfolio of innovative service solutions for all technologies:

  • Spare parts risk analysis:
A longer downtime due to missing spare parts can cause significant costs. GROB takes this risk into account and identifies bottleneck stations in the manufacturing process. Based on precise criteria, a tailor-made spare part storage strategy is developed in order to minimize delivery delays.

  • Condition analysis and preventive maintenance:
Maintaining older machines and systems, especially in the demanding machining industry, requires targeted measures. GROB offers comprehensive condition analyses and individual preventive maintenance plans to successfully extend the operating times of older systems. But GROB also analyzes and services its customers' systems in the field of electromobility.

  • Production support and on-the-job training:
A smooth start-up of new systems, especially in new technologies, is crucial. GROB provides production support as well as practice-oriented training units to ensure an efficient start of production and to sustainably train staff for preventative maintenance.

Innovation and interaction at EMO

At EMO 2023, GROB will present not only groundbreaking service solutions, but also interactive innovations. An interactive touchscreen provides live demonstrations of the webshopGROB4Care with new tracking function. In addition, visitors can take a virtual tour of GROB's motorized spindle department. And the Technical Academy is also unveiling its new VR goggles for visitors for the first time, offering a virtual exploration of a GROB facility. This form of customer training will make it possible in future to convey learning content in a location-independent and practical manner and to make employees of our customers fit for GROB systems. In addition, there will be another highlight at the trade fair at the service booth: an AI-based chat function that can provide answers to visitors' questions based on the service brochures.

The EMO in Hanover is a unique opportunity for industry experts and companies to get to know GROB's comprehensive service offerings. The company's expertise in combination with innovative technologies promises to ensure sustainable productivity for customers worldwide. "At GROB, we are committed to placing our customers at the heart of our service. Our goal is to offer tailor-made solutions that ensure the productivity of our customers from the very beginning. EMO 2023 is the ideal platform to demonstrate our commitment to first-class service," emphasizes Martin Schilling, Division Manager Service at GROB.
