A highlight of the celebrations were the machine demonstrations, during which the G440 4-axis universal machining center and the G350 5-axis universal machining center impressively demonstrated their precision and performance. The versatility of GROB technology was clearly demonstrated to visitors using selected workpieces from the aerospace, automotive, e-mobility, and die and mold sectors. The presentation was rounded off by a small exhibition by our partners HyperMill, Innovax, Lubricantes Fuchs México, Regio-Fix Latam, Schunk México, Haimer México, and Walter Tools, which offered additional insights into current and future innovations.
In addition to technology, personal interaction also played a central role at the open house, and so, in addition to subsidiary manager Jörg Wagner, Christian and Florian Grob were also on site to congratulate the company on its anniversary. The supporting program led through a varied day that was all about Mexican culture. Corn carts, churros, donuts, and more provided culinary diversity, while a traditional mariachi band provided a festive finale.
From Saltillo to Querétaro
The success story of GROB Mexico began in 2000 with the founding of the subsidiary in Saltillo. Ten years later, the company moved to Querétaro, where the new showroom and service building was officially inaugurated in 2013. Since then, GROB Mexico has continued to develop steadily. The team is particularly proud of the awards from the BOCAR Group, which honored GROB as Supplier of the Year in 2022 and 2024. Each of these milestones represents the ongoing commitment to promoting innovation and quality in the Mexican manufacturing industry.
Looking ahead
A quarter of a century after its founding, GROB Mexico is more than ever a reliable partner for its customers. The celebrations combined a tribute to the past 25 years with a look ahead to the future, in which technical expertise, partnership-based cooperation, and innovation will remain the central elements. Subsidiary manager Jörg Wagner sums up this achievement: “For me, 25 years of GROB Mexico mean 25 years of passion, precision, and progress. May this anniversary remind us all of what we have achieved together – and what still lies ahead.”
