Branches established in SH Hengelo (Netherlands) and Steinhausen (Switzerland); DMG meccanica integrated into the GROB Group and transformed into the fifth production plant, GROB Italy S.r.l. in Turin (Italy)

Purchase of DMG meccanica in Turin (Italy), the Italian machine and plant constructor for electric motors
2016
Company taken over by Christian Grob, stepson of Burkhart Grob, as Supervisory Board Chairman, Mindelheim plant expanded by a new headquarters and 30,000 m² of production area; GROB-WERKE celebrates its ninetieth anniversary; São Paulo (Brazil) plant celebrates its sixtieth anniversary

Revenue passed the billion mark for the first time in 2014/15; new Technology and Applications Center (TAZ) constructed at the Mindelheim plant; new Technology and Applications Center (TAZ) constructed at the branch in Shanghai (China); branches established in Buttigliera Alta (Italy) and Poznań (Poland)

Plant in Bluffton (USA) expanded by 9,000 m²; Dalian (China) plant expanded to a total area of 27,000 m²; plant in Mindelheim expanded by a 15,600 m² automation hall and a 5,200 m² training center
