Under the anniversary motto "100 Years of GROB," GROB Service will present its forward-looking service concept in Mindelheim from March 17 to 20, 2026. With a "performance tour" through various service areas, interactive VR technologies, and exclusive trade fair conditions, the company is underlining its role as a long-term partner for highly efficient production processes.

In modern manufacturing, it is no longer just the hardware that determines success, but the long-term availability and performance of the equipment. GROB Service will therefore once again be represented at this year's in-house exhibition. The goal is clearly defined: to present service not only as support when needed, but to make it a tangible competitive advantage for customers.

The Performance Tour: How GROB Service ensures productivity

The central element of the trade fair presentation is the newly designed "GROB Service – Performance Tour." In a compact, approximately 20-minute tour, visitors will experience five essential focal points of modern life cycle management. The stations cover the topics of material supply, lifetime services, automation retrofitting, and the "GROB Spindle Protect" system. Special attention is paid to the "Live Experience" using AR glasses, which shows how remote maintenance and technician support are now merging in real time.

The program is complemented by specialized tours on spindle repair and automation solutions, which are offered several times a day in German and English. "Our aim is to guarantee our customers not only a machine, but also maximum process stability for decades," explains Martin Schilling, Head of GROB Service. "With the Performance Tour, we demonstrate in a practical way how we ensure our customers' performance through prevention and digitalization."

Interactive technology and exclusive trade fair benefits

The service stand functions as an interactive competence center. In addition to VR simulations for virtual training and 3D-printed automation models, visitors can solve realistic tasks directly on a GROB machine using augmented reality. To make it easier to get started with optimized service structures, GROB is offering exclusive special conditions during the four days of the trade fair. These include significant price advantages on the first year of the "GROB production safety" service agreement, discounts on specialist training courses, and special prices for in-depth condition analyses such as the GEO or Allround Check.

Focus on partnership: The GROB wheel of fortune

Another highlight of this year's in-house exhibition is the competition at the service stand. In cooperation with its long-standing partner Blaser Swisslube, GROB is giving away a hot air balloon ride over the Alps, including two hotel nights for two people, as the main prize. Other prizes such as discounts on spindle replacement, discounts in the GROB4Care Webshop, free GSD evaluations, and products from Rapunzel Naturkost underscore the partnership-based nature of the event.
