With this award, General Motors recognizes suppliers that have demonstrated exceptional performance in the categories of quality, innovation, sustainability and resilience. The selection was made by a global, cross-functional GM team, which assessed not only the operational performance in 2024 but also the strategic direction and value orientation of the award winners.
"This award is a great honor for us and confirms our continuous work on technological excellence and partnership-based cooperation with GM. We see it as an incentive to further expand our innovative strength and reliability," says Christian Grob, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of GROB-WERKE.
The award ceremony in Phoenix brought together 92 suppliers from 12 countries - a strong sign of global cooperation and technological leadership in the automotive industry. GROB impressed with pioneering solutions in manufacturing technology, particularly in the field of electromobility and automation.
Jeff Morrison, Vice President Global Purchasing and Supply Chain at GM, emphasized the importance of long-standing partnerships: "For over 30 years, we at GM have been recognizing our best suppliers. This year, we are especially recognizing those who perform at the highest level even under challenging conditions and share our vision of sustainable, innovative mobility."
The award continues a long series of successes: This is the 13th time that GROB has received a Supplier Award from General Motors - impressive proof of the many years of successful cooperation and the trust that GM places in the innovative strength and delivery reliability of the Bavarian machine manufacturer.
