Official opening of the 13th GROB Technology and Application Center in Guangzhou, China

The official start was marked by the opening ceremony. Representatives of the management, including Christian Müller, CSO at GROB, warmly welcomed the guests and gave an insight into the importance of this new location.

"It is a great pleasure for us to open the technology and application center in Guangzhou today," said Christian Müller. "China is a key market for us. With this location, we are strengthening our local presence and can support our customers even more directly, quickly and specifically - with what they really need."

During the rest of the event, the focus was on exchange: A specialist seminar offered guests the opportunity to find out all about the latest developments from GROB - from innovative machine concepts and automation solutions to digitalization topics. The participants not only received theoretical insights, but also practical application examples. A special highlight was the live machining demonstrations on the 5-axis universal machining centers G350 and G550 access. Here, guests were able to experience first-hand how powerful, flexible and future-oriented the technologies are. GROB experts from various specialist areas were also on hand to answer questions and hold discussions. 

With the new center in Guangzhou, GROB is not only further expanding its international presence, but above all creating proximity - to customers, to partners and to the challenges that will move the industry in the future. The location is designed as a competence center that not only shows machines, but also facilitates real dialogue, conducts training and develops customized solutions together with customers.
