Experience history: #100GROB
A special highlight of the GROB in-house exhibition is the #100GROB anniversary area, which takes visitors on a journey through a century of mechanical engineering expertise. Original machines, historical documents, and images show how GROB has grown from a regional machine tool manufacturer to a global system provider. "Our anniversary area brings our history to life and at the same time shows how we are actively shaping technological progress," explains Christian Müller, CSO at GROB-WERKE.
Experience machines and technologies live on over 6,000 m²
At the in-house exhibition, GROB is presenting over 40 machines, including universal machining centers, solutions for machining technology, systems for electromobility, and applications for additive manufacturing. Four special areas are dedicated to current growth markets: Semiconductor, Aerospace & Defence, Energy Technology, andDie & Mold. Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn about forward-looking business areas such as humanoid robotics and drone systems. Over 70 guided tours through 14 production halls will give visitors a clear picture of the company's vertical range of manufacture, process expertise, and high level of automation.
Product premieres with added value
Several premieres are among the highlights of the trade fair. The GP1350 5-axis portal milling machining center opens up new possibilities for machining large parts and is designed for applications in a wide range of industries. The GRC-M60 robot cell complements GROB's modular automation world and impresses with its high flexibility and easy integration into existing manufacturing systems. With the new MES/MOM system “COSERA,” the entire flow of parts on the shop floor is digitally controlled and recorded, significantly increasing transparency, efficiency, and process reliability.
Additive manufacturing: Experience the GMP300 live
Another highlight is the GMP300 from the field of additive manufacturing. "Our wire-based 3D printing process allows aluminum components to be manufactured flexibly, quickly, and in a resource-efficient manner," explains Christoph de Pay, Product Manager Additive Manufacturing. An optimized sealing concept, real-time monitoring, and a second wire feed system ensure maximum component quality and production flexibility. Trade visitors can experience the technology live and discuss practical applications.
Machining technology: G920F5 for mega castings
With the G920F5 machining center GROB presents a powerful solution for large-format components, which are increasingly being used in the automotive industry. The machine enables precise 5-axis machining and offers customers maximum flexibility for a wide range of applications, from frame structure parts to mega castings. Carsten König, Head of Machining Technology and Digital Products at GROB, explains: "The G920F5 combines robustness, precision, and adaptability – a solution for today's and tomorrow's requirements." Over 50 sales worldwide already confirm the market relevance of the machine series.
Specialist areas and partners
More than 60 exhibitors from the fields of tool technology, clamping devices, CAD/CAM, and simulation, among others, complement the trade fair program. Other specialist areas such as the Quality-Checked Used Machines Center, GROB Service, and customer training courses at the GROB Technical Academy round off the event and make the in-house exhibition a central platform for exchange, further training, and innovation.
Technology, efficiency, and customer benefits
