As early as 2024, GROB invested in a new property with an administrative building and production hall in Więckowice near Poznań to meet the market’s growing demands. In November of that same year, the company relocated from its previous site in Sieroslaw. After about a year of construction, the 800 m² TAC was officially opened during an Open House event on May 21, 2026. The inauguration coincided with a special anniversary year: While GROB Poland is celebrating ten successful years, this year also marks the 100th anniversary of the entire GROB company.

Open House – Practical Insights into High-Performance Manufacturing

Numerous trade visitors and prominent customers took the opportunity to learn about GROB’s latest machining strategies and automation solutions at the Open House. The focus was on the efficient use of modern machine and manufacturing systems and their potential for cost-effective production.

During the live demonstration, GROB showcased, among other things, the G350 and G150 5-axis milling machining centers. In combination with the PSS-T300 pallet tower storage system, the company vividly demonstrated the high performance of automated manufacturing cells. Visitors were also able to observe real machining processes, such as the production of an impeller on the G350. On the G150, GROB also demonstrated automatic workpiece measurement for unmanned production.

Highlights of the program included opening remarks by GROB CSO Christian Müller and Waldemar Jenczyk, Managing Director of GROB Poland. In addition to a look back at the company’s 100-year history, the focus was on future-oriented topics such as the company’s entry into robotics. Jenczyk also highlighted the development of the Polish location and paid special tribute to the long-standing collaboration with partner Neo Tec, which has played a key role in supporting GROB’s successful market entry in Poland.

Another highlight of the program was a presentation on the partnership with Pratt & Whitney—a leading company in the aerospace industry – which has been in place for more than ten years. In addition, partners BLUM and Emuge-Franken demonstrated their technologies in practical applications, while other companies showcased their solutions at accompanying information booths.

The Development of GROB Poland—From Market Entry to Technology Center

Since its founding in 2015, GROB Poland has successfully established itself in the market and has continuously expanded its scope of operations. A major milestone was the opening of the first Technology and Application Center in Sieroslaw in 2019. For the first time, customer applications could be demonstrated and tested directly on-site in a 600 m² facility.

That same year, the subsidiary office oversaw one of its most significant projects to date: GROB supplied nearly the entire production line for cylinder heads, cylinder blocks, and engine assembly for the Peugeot plant in Tychy, Poland. To this day, this project remains one of the site’s most important references.

With its move to Więckowice and the commissioning of the new Technology and Application Center, GROB Poland is consistently continuing on its growth trajectory. The facility combines modern infrastructure with comprehensive application expertise and offers customers from across the region optimal conditions for consulting, technology testing, and project development.

This anniversary year thus not only marks the company’s successful development over the past ten years, but also looks toward the future: GROB Poland continues to expand its role within the GROB Group and remains a strong regional partner with an international focus.
