Following the motto “BIG EXHIBITION COMEBACK” GROB is looking forward to finally being back live at the AMB in Stuttgart. GROB has made good use of the time and intensively prepared the restart. From the 5-axis universal machining center G150 with small robot cell to the 4-axis universal machining center G440 with rotary pallet storage system and the big machining center G520F for frame structure and chassis parts as well as the new GROB Liquid Metal Printing system GMP300 from the additive manufacturing sector, GROB will present its broad range of technologies from September 13 to 17, 2022.

After more than four years and a forced break due to the corona pandemic, GROB will now be present again on the long-established leading metal-working exhibition in Stuttgart from September 13 to 17, 2022. GROB is going to present its broad range of machining technologies on more than 500 m² in the Paul Horn hall 10, exhibition stand B11. From the small 5-axis universal machining center G150 to the large machining center G520F, GROB will prove its leadership position in the machining industry. The GROB universal machining center G440 represents, in addition, the heavy-duty machine series from the 4-axis business that guarantees robust and dynamic processes.

Although the focus of the AMB exhibition is on machining, numerous other highlights and new technologies will be presented at the GROB exhibition stand. This includes the new manufacturing plant GMP300, with which GROB offers its customers for the first time a manufacturing system for the production of near net-shape parts in the field of additive manufacturing. Furthermore, visitors will find interesting exhibits and presentations from the areas of electromobility and service as well as the GROB-NET4Industry software solution developed by GROB.

“Several years of absence from trade fair have shown that there is no substitute for the direct exchange that is only possible on a trade fair in presence”, says GROB Sales Director Christian Müller, looking forward to the AMB, the meeting place for the machining industry. “Taking part in the AMB exhibition for the seventh time, we will this year continue a long trade fair tradition of our company.”

Already in 2008, when GROB-WERKE took part in the AMB for the first time, it presented the first generation of the 5-axis universal machining center G350. Eight years later, the second generation of the GROB universal machining center series was presented. Today, GROB counts among the big players in the field of 4-axis and 5-axis machining centers with automation.

GROB’s 4-axis and 5-axis machining centers are characterized by a unique machine concept offering nearly unlimited possibilities for milling and turning of parts made of a wide variety of materials. No matter whether aerospace, mechanical engineering, toolmaking and mold design industries, automotive sector or medical technology – GROB machining centers are optimized to meet the diverse requirements of all industries.
