With around 4,000 trade visitors from all over the world, this year's GROB in-house exhibition was a complete success. For four days, from April 1 to 4, the headquarters of the Bavarian machine manufacturer was transformed into an impressive technology stage. Under the motto “Welcoming the World to Bavaria,” GROB presented its latest developments in the fields of manufacturing technology, digitalization, and electromobility on over 6,000 square meters of exhibition space.

Visitors were treated to a varied program of live demonstrations, factory tours and specialist presentations. Whether partners, new customers or long-standing existing customers - the in-house exhibition offered space for exchange, inspiration and direct insights into the production world of tomorrow.

Technology you can touch

Highlights included the G550 5-axis universal machining center with the newly developed Vario rotary table - a special table solution for machining turbine parts and other slim, long components. The G550T mill-turn machining center with new clamping hydraulics also showed how GROB is making automatic clamping of workpieces more efficient. Automation fans were able to experience the new generation of the PSS-R900 rotary pallet storage system live - with even more flexibility and performance. GROB-NET4Industry also made the digital future tangible at the trade fair. The new GROB4PartFlow part tracking system attracted a great deal of attention: the solution enables seamless tracking of workpieces and raises industrial process reliability to a new level.

Another impressive example of one of GROB's many technologies in the field of additive manufacturing is the performance of the GMP300. The second generation of the machine impresses with an optimized sealing concept, real-time monitoring of droplet formation and an improved shielding gas concept for even higher component quality.

Solutions for the automotive industry

In the field of machining technology, GROB presented the new G920Fmachining center to trade fair visitors - a powerful machine for machining mega and giga castings in the automotive industry. The Bavarian machine manufacturer also informed visitors about pioneering developments in the field of electromobility: The Laminator 2.0 and the Z-Falter 3.0 impress with optimized processes, increased performance and improved energy efficiency. There were also insights into the further development of cell-to-pack technology and solutions for stator and rotor production.

60 partner companies - countless solutions

The exhibitor area was also a complete success. Over 60 partner companies presented innovative solutions from sectors such as aerospace, mold making, energy technology and mechanical engineering - from precision tools and clamping systems to modern CAD/CAM solutions that perfectly complement production on GROB machines. Visitors were able to experience practical applications first-hand and discuss industry-specific issues in depth with experts.

An all-round successful event

With the in-house exhibition 2025, GROB once again proved that innovation, customer proximity and internationality are not just buzzwords at the Mindelheim-based family business, but a daily reality. The positive feedback from guests - from the first welcome to the last factory tour - speaks for itself.

Outlook for the 2026 in-house exhibition - 100 years of GROB

In 2026, the company will be celebrating its 100th anniversary. Under the motto "100 Years of GROB - Powered by innovation and progress", GROB will not only present its latest technologies next year from March 17 to 20, but also look back on a century of mechanical engineering history. The anniversary in-house exhibition promises to be a very special highlight - with exclusive program items, reviews of milestones in the company's history and visionary insights into the future. Guests from all over the world can look forward to an event that unites tradition and progress in a unique way.
