A resounding success at AMB 2026: For the ninth time, GROB showcased its technologies and solutions at the international metalworking exhibition in Stuttgart and, in the year of its 100th anniversary, impressively demonstrated how manufacturing today and tomorrow can be shaped.

The GROB Team at AMB 2026

From September 15 to 19, 2026, the AMB once again served as the meeting place for the international metalworking industry under the theme “Where metal comes alive.” At its booth, spanning over 600 square meters in Hall 10, GROB presented its latest developments to industry professionals and offered exciting insights into the future of manufacturing.

Among the highlights were three innovations that GROB unveiled for the first time at an external trade show: the new GP1350 5-axis portal milling machining center for the precise machining of large and complex components, as well as the modular GRC-M60 robot cell for flexible and efficient automation. The COSERA digital control system also made its trade show debut at AMB, demonstrating how the entire flow of parts in production can be digitally tracked, controlled, and monitored.

Aluminum Ferris Wheel as a Visitor Attraction

A specially designed aluminum Ferris wheel, approximately 1.5 meters tall, served as a real eye-catcher at the GROB booth. This spectacular workpiece was manufactured from over 180 individual parts on the G350a and G350 universal machining centers through a joint effort between the apprenticeship department and the application engineering team.

GROB was also represented at the booths of selected partners: In addition to a battery tray at EMUGE-FRANKEN, a GROB 5-axis machining center was on display at the booths of Paul Horn, SolidCAM, and YG-1.

AMB 2026 Reaffirms Its Status as an Industry Gathering

With approximately 65,000 visitors from 76 countries and 1,195 exhibitors from 34 countries, AMB once again underscored its importance as Europe’s leading trade fair for metalworking. In particular, the high proportion of trade visitors with decision-making authority and the positive atmosphere during discussions made it clear that, even in a challenging market environment, the industry remains highly innovative and solution-oriented.

“AMB 2026 exceeded our expectations in every way. The great interest in our future-proof solutions and the numerous in-depth discussions with customers and industry experts made the trade show a real highlight for us. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all visitors and partners,” summarized Christian Müller, CSO of the GROB Group.

Experience Technology, Develop Solutions

For GROB, AMB remains an important platform for showcasing the company’s technological expertise, discussing specific manufacturing tasks with customers, and developing tailored solutions for industry-specific challenges.
