For the first time GROB-WERKE present their extensive portfolio of technical innovations and machine highlights from 05 to 10 October 2020 within the Virtual Open House and thus set a new milestone in their customer communication and digital marketing.

05 October is the long-awaited day: GROB-WERKE will start their first Virtual Open House as a substitute for the cancelled fairs this year. Customers and interested parties can collect information on universal machining center and system machines digitally. Aside from these, GROB will also show its smart service products, innovative training concepts and intelligent applications for the GROB-NET4Industry software solution developed in-house. In the Electromobility range, aside from exhibits on electric motors, battery module assembly and new techniques such as impregnation can be seen.

Visitors can also take a peek behind the curtains in a virtual tour, or exchange information directly with GROB experts via live chat. The Virtual Open House is rounded off with specialized presentations on service, GROB-NET4Industry, automation, universal machining centers and electromobility.

Technical presentations "on demand" – daily online from 08:00 CEST

GROB starts its Virtual Open House with a whole series of digital technical presentations. A new web seminar goes online daily at 08:00 CEST. On the subject of universal machining centers, the new G150 machine version will be presented, as will the various GROB automation solutions. In the field of electromobility, the focus is on the latest automated solutions for the assembly of battery modules and packs while at GROB-NET4Industry everything revolves around smart digitalization in production. In the After Sales area, on the other hand, the question is being addressed as to how "new approaches can further increase economic viability".

Virtual showroom as exhibition area

In a virtual showroom analog to the already existing Technology and Applications Center (TAZ), GROB presents the whole variety of its product range and services, which give customers an advantage in their production. Ranging from the G150 universal machining center, to the G350, the G350T with PSS-R15 and additional tool magazine TM 374 and the G550 with PSS-L as well as the G750 and two access machines G350a and G550a, visitors can see a comprehensive extract of the universal machining center portfolio. Furthermore, the G700F system machine and a G520 two-spindle machining center including pallet changer can be seen. Since GROB also offers manufacturer-tested and certified used machines from this year on, this area is also part of the virtual showroom. The areas GROB-NET4Industry and After Sales give information on interesting innovations and possibilities to make your production more efficient. Since progress and future-oriented innovations are a top priority at GROB, the latest developments in the field of electromobility will also be on display. Both the battery module assembly and the impregnation are highlights which will be presented.

"This is the first time that we are organizing a Virtual Open House instead of our traditional in-house exhibition," says Christian Müller, Managing Director of Sales at GROB. "The platform gives us the possibility to show numerous novelties. In a way, this is new territory for us as well. But since we have already gained a lot of experience with our appearances in the social media and have received very good feedback, we are looking forward to our first Virtual Open House!"
