The centerpiece of the trade show presentation is the new GP1350, which is being unveiled for the first time at an external trade show. In addition, GROB will present the GRC-M60 robot cell, a new automation solution, as well as digital applications that make manufacturing processes more transparent and efficient.
“The AMB offers us the opportunity to speak directly with our customers about current manufacturing requirements while simultaneously demonstrating new technologies under real-world conditions,” explains Christian Müller, CSO of GROB-WERKE. “Visitors to our booth can experience how machines, automation, and digitalization work together seamlessly.”
GP1350 5-axis portal milling machining center for machining large parts
With the GP1350, GROB is expanding its universal machine portfolio with a new 5-axis portal milling machining center. Thanks to its stable, vibration-damping gantry design, the GP1350 is particularly well-suited for applications requiring the high-precision machining of large components. The 5-axis technology enables the production of complex geometries in clamping, thereby contributing to shorter turnaround times.
“With the GP1350, we are responding to the growing demand for high-performance solutions for large parts,” says Christian Müller. “At the same time, our customers benefit from GROB’s well-known strengths in the areas of precision, dynamics, and process reliability.”
Modular GRC-M60 robot cell expands GROB’s automation portfolio
In the field of automation, GROB is unveiling the new GRC-M60 robot cell for the first time. It complements the company’s modular automation ecosystem and opens up additional possibilities for the automated production of a wide variety of parts. Thanks to its modular design, the GRC-M60 can be flexibly adapted to different production requirements. Companies can use it to both expand existing production lines and implement new automation concepts.
“Many of our customers are looking for solutions that can be easily integrated into existing production environments,” explains Müller. “This is exactly where the GRC-M60 comes in.”
Digitalization from planning to tool management
Another focus of the trade show presentation is digitalization. GROB demonstrates how manufacturing processes can be digitally mapped and controlled using the COSERA MES system and a fully integrated tool management system.
The goal is to make relevant production data available where it is needed while simultaneously increasing transparency throughout the entire manufacturing process. Visitors will gain insight into how digital solutions can help monitor processes, use resources efficiently, and prevent idle states.
Additional technologies and areas of expertise on site
In addition to the trade show premieres, GROB will also provide information on service, customer training, additive manufacturing, and e-mobility. The trade show presentation will be complemented by the introduction of various Centers of Excellence, including Aerospace & Defence and Semiconductor.
With the innovations and technologies on display, GROB will demonstrate at AMB 2026 how modern manufacturing solutions can be integrated—from the machine itself through automation to digital process support.
