Alongside its machining centers for frame structure parts, the long-established company will also be exhibiting a two-spindle machining center for increasing productivity.

Mindelheim/Hanover. GROB-WERKE has been showcasing its technological innovations at EMO, the world's largest trade fair for the metalworking sector, every two years for over four decades. Exhibits include the G-series (2005), the very first GROB universal machining centers (2007), and also the mill-turn technology (2011) and the universal machining centers of the second generation (2015).

Alongside the new access machine series, GROB will also be exhibiting developments in the electromobility sector as technical highlights on its stand (B06) in Hall 12. The company will also be reporting on the expansion of its innovative service concepts and focusing on the idea of digitization with its proprietary software solution GROB-NET4Industry.

Access to Success – the new machine series from GROB

GROB will be presenting at EMO its new access-series, two flexible all-rounders for the universal machining center sector: The new G350a and G550a 5-axis machining centers are a convincingly smart and economic introduction to the unique GROB technology, offering customers from demanding industries virtually limitless applications. And they guarantee the utmost reliability and high productivity in the renowned GROB quality. Their short payback time, yet another benchmark for GROB in machine tool construction, is especially convincing.

High machine availability is combined with significantly reduced costs. These universal machining centers, then, offer the ideal solution for automobile suppliers and customers from the general mechanical engineering, contract manufacture, tool construction, and also the pump and fitting sectors.

Leading partner for electromobility

In the electromobility sector, GROB has further enhanced its expertise in recent years through sizable investments and technological developments to become a leading partner for the series production of hybrid and electric drives in the automotive industry. In a dedicated presentation area at EMO, GROB will be revealing its professional competence in the manufacture of production lines and facilities for e-machines and electric motors, and also in the production and assembly of battery cells, modules and packs. Substantial orders from the automotive industry are testimony to the fact that GROB is already able to offer system concepts for the manufacture of hybrid and electric drives and has reliably implemented these concepts at series production level.
