By tradition, GROB-WERKE has been represented when the doors open to the AMB in Stuttgart and IMTS in Chicago every two years. Once again this year, our company is presenting its latest technologies and applications at the leading trade shows for metal cutting.

The IMTS, with its strong focus on the American core markets in the USA, Brazil and Mexico, plays an important role for GROB-Group. For 24 years we at GROB have participated in the IMTS. This year at its 31st edition our colleagues at GROB Systems are presenting a 5-axis G350 - Generation 2 universal machining center, our GROB PSS-R rotary pallet storage system with Siemens control system as well as a 5-axis G550T universal mill and turn machining center. These machines can be viewed in the South Building, booth number S-8574 in our 500 m² display area.

Our company will also be represented for the fifth time at its “home trade fair”, the AMB in Stuttgart. The show highlights can be seen at our 255 m2 booth in Hall 5, booth number C38, featuring a 5-axis G350 - Generation 2 universal machining center with Heidenhain control system (16,000 rpm spindle) and a new GROB-Pilot4M control panel. In addition, a 5-axis G550 - Generation 1 universal machining center with Siemens control system (16,000 rpm spindle) as well as the GROB PSS-R10 rotary pallet storage system will be on display. The G350 will exhibit high-performance cutting of 16MnCrs5 steel. The G550 will be demonstrated interlinked and in automatic operation with the GROB pallet storage system. Its storage system will include sample work pieces from various industries. GROB will introduce its advanced “GROB-NET4Industry” software technology as an independent product in Stuttgart.

“On the whole we are convinced that the AMB and IMTS shows, following the EMO in Milan last year, are the right platforms to best demonstrate the superiority of our innovative technologies and applications”, stated Jochen Nahl, GROB Sales and Marketing Director. These two trade show appearances again prove that our company is optimally prepared for the particular challenges posed by new technologies.

Since GROB machinery is produced worldwide over using identical processes, tools and high quality standards, our plant network with its impressive machine portfolio can respond very flexibly to all types of customer requirements. The new G800 large-scale machining center can additionally address our potetnial customer spectrum of the car-making, shipbuilding and energy industry., Traktoren und Energietechnik zusätzlich abgerundet.
